Velma was born in a small town in Kansas, then her family moved to a farm north of Brighton, Colorado. Velma has always held a very high respect and joy for the great outdoors and wildlife. Art is her passion and for many years Velma has been self-employed an an upholster. Now that she is retired, Velma has more time to devote to her artistic talents. Doll and pillow making are also on Velma's list of passionate hobbies.
